What do you want to protect?

An introduction

Most households in The Colony, Little Elm, Frisco, and Lewisville depend on more than one vehicle, and often more than one driver. We help you understand the policy you have now and the choices in front of you, for cars, trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles.

New car, new teen driver, or a renewal notice in the mail? Those are all good times to talk.

What it generally does

Auto insurance generally includes liability protection, which helps pay for injuries and damage you cause to others. It often also offers optional coverage for damage to your own vehicle, and protection if you are hit by a driver with too little insurance.

Motorcycle insurance generally works in a similar way for your bike, with options that reflect how and when you ride.

Every policy is different. An agent explains the details of any policy before you decide.

Who it suits

  • Anyone buying or leasing a car, truck, or SUV
  • Households adding a new or teenage driver
  • Motorcycle riders
  • People with a renewal coming who want their policy explained

Texas notes

Worth knowing in North Texas

Texas minimum liability is 30/60/25. Texas requires auto liability coverage of at least 30/60/25: $30,000 for each injured person, up to $60,000 per accident, and $25,000 for property damage. Many drivers choose to talk with an agent about whether the minimum fits their situation.

Spring hail. Spring hail is part of life in North Texas. It is a good reason to know your deductible before storm season.

General information only. An agent can walk you through how any of this applies to you.

Questions

Common questions

General information, not a statement about any policy.

What does 30/60/25 mean?

It is the Texas minimum for auto liability: $30,000 for each injured person, up to $60,000 per accident, and $25,000 for property damage.

Do you need my driver’s license number?

No. Please do not send license numbers by text or in the form. We start with vehicles, drivers, and ages.

Can I put my motorcycle and car together?

We help with both at one office, so an agent can review them side by side. The agent explains what options are available for your household.

Should I mention old tickets or accidents?

Yes, anything in the last few years. It helps the agent give you an accurate picture from the start.

I just bought a car. What should I do first?

Text us the year, make, and model and a photo of your current declarations page if you have one. An agent can take it from there.
